John and Eleanor were born and raised in Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1973, both speak fluent Scottish and English. Now they enjoy Aruba, believing it truly is ‘One Happy Island’. John and Eleanor purchased the Cunucu Residence in early 2009 and have since renovated it to now include eight Villa Apartments, one of which is occupied by Eleanor and John another by the Manager, Henk and his wife.
Henk, our Manager, is from Suriname, a Dutch Colony. He was educated in the Netherlands and speaks Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiomento (Aruba’s native tongue).
